As part of our on going services Mr Carr has continually attended CPD's and relevant courses, such as the Professional Development Course for Basic Ear Care at Aston University for safe wax removal. Having successfully completed the course on 7th August 2012 The Hearing Healthcare Centre are now pleased to be able to offer this service to all our clients. This has been a great help in terms of time saving, as in many cases in the past clients have had to wait (in certain cases) up to 2 to 3 weeks before their GP practice can deal with them. In other more recent cases, patients have been informed that the practice no longer carries out wax removal.
By being able to carry out this simple procedure we are able to continue with taking safe impressions of ears where necessary for new fittings. More importantly by removing wax we remove the problem of whistling (feedback) caused by this build up; which forces the amplified sound back out of the ear. This process can also significantly improve the sound quality of the instruments once the wax is removed, not to mention the added comfort for the client.
This service is available at a very competitive rate to anyone who requires, not just our registered clients. This service is available at a charge of £30.00 for one ear or £50.00 for two.
